This publication brings together presentations from the 2018 symposium Courage and Poetry: Refugees and Art in the Age of Liquidity, alongside texts by artists featured in the accompanying showcase exhibition. The symposium focused on the political subjectivity of refugees residing in South Korea and the artistic responses to such conditions, structured into two sessions: "Contemporary Refugees" and "Art in the Age of Liquidity."
For the publication, the order of the texts has been slightly rearranged to better highlight the differences in perspectives while emphasizing the shared concerns and issues explored throughout the event.
